Katin
Born in Surfside, California in the 1950s, Katin started as a small boat-cover shop. Locals soon asked them to cut the same rugged canvas into surf trunks, and a legend was born. From the early days of pros like Corky Carroll to the iconic Katin Pro/Am contest, their gear earned a reputation for toughness that could handle the heaviest sessions. Today, Katin is still family-run and rooted in SoCal surf culture, crafting timeless trunks and apparel built to last, just like they always have.
