Good to know about Hiroshi Kato sizing
- Take your usual size. If you wear a 32, buy the 32.
- Their waistband figure is measured flat, so double it. Each pair runs about 2" above the tag.
- Raw denim stretches, so the best first fit is snug.

Description
The Hammer is Kato's straight fit. Medium rise, a bit of extra room through the seat and thigh, and the lightest taper in their lineup — 17½" at the knee down to a 16" opening, so it reads straight without flaring. Made in the USA from Kato's 4-way stretch selvedge and slub denims; the fabric weight (10.5oz, 12.5oz, 14oz) changes with the wash, the cut doesn't.
Pick a wash above. Every Hammer is cut the same; only the fabric and color change.
